About
Ed Petrie was a member of the National Youth Theatre throughout the 1990s, and went on to study Drama at Goldsmiths. He began performing stand-up in 2002. A year later he gave up his job as a researcher on the BBC panel game 'They Think It's All Over' to become a full-time stand-up comedian, actor and presenter.
Ed has worked a presenter for Nickelodeon and the BBC. He was the main continuity presenter on CBBC for 3 years, and was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Children's Presenter in 2008. Ed has presented BBC2's Saturday morning show, 'Transmission Impossible with Ed and Oucho', as well as two series of 'Ed and Oucho's Excellent Inventions' and two series of his comedy travelogue show 'All Over The Place'.
He is currently on location filming a brand new series for CBBC 'Marrying Mum and Dad', followed by a third series of 'All Over The Place' in the USA.
