Clare first entered the world of comedy as a stand-up in the BBC New Comedy Awards semi-finals before branching out into sketch writing and performing. After enjoying several successful visits to the Fringe as part of the Runaway Lovers, Clare returned in 2008 with the critically acclaimed Edinburgh Show, Reception. Co-written and performed with comedy partner Jen Brister, the show received consistently good reviews with comparisons to French and Saunders.
Clare’s television credits include; The Cardinal Burns Series for E4, one of the regular cast in and writers of the hit BBC Three series Touch Me, I'm Karen Taylor and ITV2's Laura, Ben and Him with Laura Solon, Ben Willbond and Marek Larwood.
Her radio credits include The Russell Brand Show on BBC Radio 2.
