About

Craig Campbell, star of Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand is one of the most charismatic and inventive performers on the circuit. His unique ability to find humour in the mundane, coupled with his own natural eccentricity makes for truly inventive storytelling. Now an internationally acclaimed act, Craig's whimsical travel anecdotes never fail to surprise.

Craig first appeared alongside Tony Law and Dan Antopolski as part of comedy trio The Dinks. Their debut Edinburgh show in 2003 was both a critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York.

Following another successful Edinburgh visit with The Dinks, Craig took his first solo show to the fringe festival. The show sold out for the entire second half of its run and Craig was described, by the Edinburgh Evening News, as 'bringing a tale to life like a young Billy Connelly',

Since then, Craig has supported Rich Hall on his international tour and Frankie Boyle on his record breaking tour. He has had two further successful solo shows in Edinburgh. 2008 saw Craig depart from his traditional stand-up, when he wrote and performed his own, innovative, one-man play, Mr Eyetwister, allowing Craig to stretch his acting muscles and demonstrate ‘his ability to construct a thrilling narrative, whilst keeping his cards held firmly to his chest until the very end’ Edinburgh University Press.

Once the notorious host of Canada's legendary Ed's Night Party, and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows such as, Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and** Just for Laughs, Craig has also appeared as presenter of Sky One's hit series From Wimps to Warriors, recorded **Comedy Cuts (ITV2), Mitch Benn's Musical Comedy Show (BBC Radio 4), Out To Lunch (BBC Radio 2), Comedy Shuffle (BBC Three), Comedy Blue and Edinburgh and Beyond, both for the Paramount Comedy Channel.

In Spring 2011 Craig began touring his own show around the UK to great acclaim and took the show to the Edinburgh Festival. Craig is currently on the road with his extended tour Craig Campbell Live until the New Year.
