ONE STORY, SIX LIVES...MOUTH TO MOUTH - A NEW COMEDY DRAMA ON BBC THREE

Following the success of a one-off special, comedy-drama Mouth To Mouth returns to BBC THREE this November with a brand new six-part series of interwoven monologues.

Set in noughties Britain, Mouth to Mouth deals with six young adults as they enter their twenties and realise that there’s more to status than a Facebook update. Each year-in-the-life episode concentrates on one character’s story as their lives intertwine and sometimes collide. Small events have big effects and molehills become mountains, as each of them scrabble to find their way. Comic, tragic, and unpredictable, modern life can be tough - sometimes you need Mouth to Mouth.

The series introduces the hidden heartache, pain, desires and secrets of Meeshell Reeves (ANNA NIGHTINGALE, Snowdon and Margaret: Inside a Royal Marriage), the singer with pop-duo Cats Eyes who wants nothing more than to be famous; Devine Bello (AYESHA ANTOINE, Holby City), the perfect daughter - a kind, church-going, student nurse who would do anything for anyone; Faith (PIPPA DUFFY, KateModern), a young woman who’s found herself on the streets having escaped from a secure unit; Tyler Cooke (ALEX PRICE, Being Human), Meeshell’s dope-smoking boyfriend with a dead-end job and feelings for another woman; Rakim Prateek (SHANE ZAZA) a wannabe entrepreneur who spends his days dreaming of being the next Alan Sugar and defeating the bullies that have blighted his life; and Luke Sobers (SIMON COOMBS) a young man battling to achieve his childhood dream of playing professional football while trying to understand who he really is.

Avalon Television’s recent programmes include: four-time BAFTA Award winning, Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV1); British Comedy Award winning, Al Murray’s Happy Hour, RTS Award winning and Rose d’Or Award winning, Not Going Out (BBC ONE); Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three); double Rose d’Or Award winning Kombat Opera Presents… (BBC TWO); and Austin Film Festival Award winner and Broadcast Award nominee, Dave Gorman in America Unchained (More4).
