CHRIS ADDISON EXTENDS STAND UP TOUR INTO AUTUMN 2010 - 22 NEW DATES ADDED

CHRIS ADDISON, star of BBC TWO’s BAFTA winning comedy The Thick Of It who recently appeared alongside JAMES GANDOLFINI and PETER CAPALDI in ARMANDO IANNUCCI’S British Comedy Award winning In The Loop, has extended his critically acclaimed stand up tour into Autumn 2010, adding 22 new dates.

Fresh from the latest critically acclaimed series of The Thick Of It, and appearances on Channel 4’s Skins and BBC TWO’s Mock The Week, CHRIS can currently be heard hosting 7 Day Sunday on BBC 5Live. He is also familiar to TV audiences from his appearances on shows like Live at the Apollo (BBC ONE), Have I Got News For You (BBC ONE) and Tonight with Jonathan Ross (BBC ONE), and his own BBC TWO sitcom Lab Rats. As a live performer CHRIS has taken five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe (two of which saw him nominated for the Perrier Award). He is also the author of two books: It Wasn’t Me and Cautionary Tales for Grown-Ups (both Hodder & Stoughton), while his radio credits include: the Sony Award winning The Ape That Got Lucky; Charm Offensive; Political Animal; Chris Addison’s Civilization; and The Department (all BBC Radio 4).
