CHRIS ADDISON - NEW STAND UP TOUR ANNOUNCED FOR 2010

It was announced today (26th August 2009) that CHRIS ADDISON, star of BBC TWO’s BAFTA winning comedy The Thick Of It who recently appeared alongside JAMES GANDOLFINI and PETER CAPALDI in ARMANDO IANNUCCI’S hit feature film In The Loop, is to embark on a 35-date national tour with his first new stand up show since 2005’s Perrier Award nominated Atomicity. On sale now, the tour will start from 5th February 2010.

CHRIS is familiar to TV audiences from his appearances on shows like Have I Got News For You (BBC ONE) and Tonight with Jonathan Ross (BBC ONE) and from his own BBC TWO sitcom Lab Rats. As a live performer he has taken five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe (two of which saw him nominated for the Perrier Award), CHRIS is also the author of two books: It Wasn’t Me and Cautionary Tales for Grown-Ups (both Hodder & Stoughton) and writes a weekly column for The Evening Standard, while his radio credits include: the Sony Award winning The Ape That Got Lucky; Charm Offensive; Political Animal; Civilisation; and The Department (all BBC Radio 4).
